Chess Master: Online Duel is a polished browser chess game that combines classic strategy with modern features for both solo and multiplayer play. Challenge the computer across six difficulty levels, from a beginner opponent that makes frequent mistakes to a powerful Master level powered by a chess engine. Choose from five board themes, use hints when needed, undo moves in casual play, and review completed matches with move-by-move replays and analysis that points out mistakes and blunders. You can also play real-time matches against friends by creating a private room and sharing a six-character code or invite link. Choose time controls ranging from fast 1-minute bullet games to 15+10 rapid matches, reconnect if your connection drops, or take on the 100-level Career Mode for a longer challenge. Each Career opponent becomes stronger and brings its own playing style, preferred openings, and time settings. How to Play Move a piece by tapping or dragging it to a legal square. Available moves appear as dots, while possible captures are shown as rings. Your goal is to checkmate the opposing king by attacking it in a position where it has no legal escape. Standard chess rules such as castling, en passant, pawn promotion, stalemate, repetition, and draw conditions are supported. In single-player mode, choose your difficulty, color, and optional clock, while Career Mode challenges you to unlock increasingly difficult opponents.
